Ways to Simplify Login Authentication in Striven

Are you frequently being asked to re-authenticate when you log in to Striven?

This may be due to multiple users accessing Striven from the same device. For example, this is common with retail environments.

Here are some helpful tips to prevent repeated re-authentication requests.

Windows Profiles

One recommendation would be to utilize Windows Profiles. Signing into your Windows Profile can simply be done by entering a password. Once logged into your Windows Profile you can utilize the below options to streamline logging into Striven.

Chrome Profiles

Chrome Profiles can also be utilized in order to easily log into Chrome and then therefore use the Google Single Sign On option. This option can be used in addition to the above recommendation. Once logged into your Windows Profile, you can simply then open Chrome and be logged in to the browser.

Google Single Sign On

With the above recommendations, you can then use the Google Single Sign On option in Striven. When you use this option the system will log you in automatically since the browser itself is logged in with your email.

Process

With the above recommendations a typical process would work as follows:

  1. Customer is ready for their order/invoice to be created
  2. Employee would go to computer and log into their Windows Profile (This Windows Profile would already have their Chrome Profile that would be logged in with their Google Account)
  3. Employee Opens their Chrome Profile browser (this can be added as a link on the desktop to go directly to their profile for the browser)
  4. Navigates to Striven and use the Google Single Sign On
