Are you terrible at remembering special occasions? Forget everyone’s birthday? How about Work Anniversaries? With Striven’s Automated Buzz Post option, you won’t have to worry about forgetting again!
You can create a Buzz Post Template by clicking on the Manage Templates button on your Buzz feed page. From there, you can click Add to begin creating your automated post.
Check the box for the Automated Post option. This will trigger further options to appear for configuration. You can select from the drop-down list the Post On option that suits your needs for this template, such as Employee Birthday.
You can select the Employee you want the post to display as Posted By and then create your Automated Buzz Post Title.
- Note: You can copy/paste the Employee’s name merge field into the title so their name displays automatically when posted.
Just fill in your desired message in the editor field and include any of the available merge fields as needed.
On the right side of the page, if you check the box to Select a picture randomly as a merge field, you will have the option to upload images to be displayed randomly with each post using this template.
And that’s it! Now your Employee’s birthdays will be recognized and announced on your Buzz feed automatically! (As long as their birthday is stored in their My Info page, of course!)
