We’ve created a thermal receipt that is much faster than a traditional printed receipt. We have to use a little Chat GPT to help write the code and think custom shrink to fit to page.

  1. It would be nice if Striven had a dedicated thermal receipt format that would make the receipt look a little better. I think it loses some sharpness as it was scaled to fit.
  2. It does not appear to be able to pull the ‘payment transaction id’ as a merge field.

Otherwise, we love how fast it is! I’ve tried to pull the Stripe transaction over from onto this receipt but it does not seem to be pulling the transaction id.
