When I add an internal note on the purchase order, the only way I might know a note is there is due to the little “edit” icon on the far right. Is there a way to make the internal note auto open or auto display the note without having to click on the header/down arrow? I will try to add a screenshot:
Good point—I’ve noticed this too. It looks like if you add additional customer/vendor fields and set them as “required,” they automatically open up. But here’s a bigger question: why is the format different from a sales order? Shouldn’t the internal notes and vendor-facing notes be in the same section, just like they are for sales orders?
I really think Striven should consider a revamp of the Purchase Order layout to make things more consistent!
My understanding is that you have to make one of the fields required to have it automatically expand. I wish this was a setting to have a choice to auto expand. It’s the same for tasks and other areas in Striven as well.

Thank you for you feedback. I understand having to choose fields to have auto expand option would be convenient.
@JK-KCFireplace I have created a support task to discuss more about this. I will keep you updated on the task.
Yes, great suggestion! We don’t use that field in PO’s because it is so inconspicuous but use it in SO’s all the time.
Those fields are too inconspicuous for my staff. I created custom fields everywhere to hit them over the head with. Works like a charm. I would like them to be somewhere between collapsible like they are and red with a caution sign like the Customer/Vendor notes.
