Radio buttons - auto save?

We use a series of Custom Labels/List/Radio buttons at the bottom of our sales orders so that they feed into Custom Sales Reports on our dashboards. Sometimes we forget to “Update Sales Order” button at the bottom of the screen. Can this either be an auto save OR flash a reminder that we didn’t “save our changes”?

That’s something we had to address as well. Tasks ‘autosave’, while Sales Orders need to be saved/updated. Techs working between the two can be confused about the functionality.

I believe the reason Sales Orders need to be manually saved is due to permissions and who has the ability to save/update Sales Orders without approval.

Our workaround, until everyone gets in the habit, was to add “UPDATE THE SALES ORDER AFTER CHANGE” to the title of each custom field. I also created a checkbox custom field that is not seen in the Customer/Vendor Portal and not included in the document format that is a list of instructions for completing a Sales Order, focusing on the differences between our old system and Striven. It knocked out a lot of reminder type conversations.
