Purchase Order PDF Attachment

It would be great if Purchase Order emails allowed attachment of the PDF. Many companies don’t want their customer clicking on links for security reason.

It would also be super helpful to a log of the emails that were sent.

Good Afternoon Metalhead, Vendors can see attachments added to the PO from the Vendor portal, But I will be creating an Enhancement Request on your behalf to have attachments be added to the email directly. For me to start the Enhancement Request process I will need your Name and Company name so I can set up the task.

This would be extremely helpful as most companies are ignoring these POs or they are going to spam. We have requested this a few times over the years.

I was just trying out the existing functionality as a new Striven customer, and the first vendor’s immediate response was a request for the PDF. The system we are replacing had this functionality.

Do you just see your emails go to spam for PO’s or other emails originating out of Striven? We had the same issue, we have since resolved this.

So we use the relay and that helps a bit but we still have some customer’s claim they didn’t get the email the first time so we resend it and it comes through or they find it in spam.

@AshleyCrest, I will PM you regarding this. We had a very similar issue. There is a fix!

PDFs would be nice, as we often need to attached other docs w/ the PO. We have been using discussions, but those emails frequently end up in our vendor’s spam folder.

@Adam, We were having the same issues. Most likely, you need to take a look at the SPF Record for the domain you are using if you are utilizing email relay.

Don’t think we are using an email relay unless that is automatically setup. Candidly, I’m not sure what that is…:slight_smile:

Not any longer, we did that for the first 12 months or so. Haven’t really needed anything out of the ordinary since then. We’re getting by the way we are doing it, but always room for improvement!
