Old Report Builder - Not discontinued

I think there should be a pause on discontinuing the old report builder as the new one is still missing fields the old one currently has and still does not do math correctly like the old report builder. I use reports daily and still have to use my old reports due to the new report builder not having the same capabilities.

@AshleyCrest I agree. We do enjoy the formatting of the old one as well.

Greetings Ashley & Billy,

Thank you for your feedback regarding the new report builder. We understand the importance of having a fully functional tool, especially when it comes to daily reporting tasks.

We’ll escalate your concerns about missing fields and the math discrepancies in the new report builder to our development team.

We’ll ensure that updates regarding the new report builder’s improvements are communicated to you promptly. Please don’t hesitate to share any specific examples or additional feedback, as this will help us address your concerns more effectively.

Thank you for your patience and continued support as we work to enhance the tool’s capabilities.

I was under the impression that we will not lose accessibility to run the old reports but new reports at the deadline will only be able to be created using the new format. That was a relief, BUT I do agree that there is work to be done on the new format. I like the ability to pull fields from other data sets; however it’s not very user friendly and some fields are missing from the original report builder.

I agree, the beta is still beta. I think it would be useful to both Striven staff and users if there were a way to compile the missing data fields and filters so the resolutions could be monitored. The users each use reports in unique ways, so crowd sourcing this activity would be the most logical. A central repository that engineers could pick from as they are working on different areas of the report builder would make the work more efficient.

A Google sheet that could be added to would be the easiest way, but a post with a simple form link and an embedded worksheet of the results and whether or not they’ve been resolved would likely be more useful.
