To have alert when a task is being updated by multiple users

Name of Feature/Request: To have alert when a task is being updated by multiple users

What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: To have a warning/alert if edits on a task are being made at the same time in different devices or tabs. | Frequency: Daily | If a task type gets changed (presumably by another user) after the task is opened, there is no indication on the outdated task that the change occurred. Custom fields show that they are being saved as they are filled out, but no data is actually saved. REPRODUCTION: Create a task of a type that uses custom fields. Open that task on Device A*. On Device B, change the task to a different type. On Device A, without refreshing the page, fill out the task’s custom fields. Fields will flash green and confirm that they have saved as usual. Open the task (or refresh, if already open) on any device. The task will correctly show as the new task type, and any information that was entered into custom fields will be lost. * Separate browser tabs can also be used instead of separate devices. EXPECTED BEHAVIOR An error should be thrown if data has not been properly saved in a custom field.

This is a big deal. We run into it a lot because we send teams of two out to Tasks. We can’t use Teams because Team scheduled Tasks don’t show up on individual employee calendars. Both employees must add their hours and usually one adds all of the notes. If they both start editing the Task (adding time) at the same time, one of them (usually the note taker) gets screwed and needs to add all of the info again, sometimes affecting attachments as well.
