Name of Feature/Request: ShipStation Mapping Phase 2
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Add more mapping options with the ShipStation integration including Quoted, Canceled, and Completed. Customized mapping options. Customer Requirements: Things to Consider: Promised Date: Files/Links/s: Original Description:When setting up the integration for ShipStation in Striven users can copy and paste information into their ShipStation account to set up their custom store to link up the two systems and sync orders from Striven into ShipStation. Some of the information users are directed to copy and paste are order statuses. The statuses are misleading however because users are lead to believe that these statuses update entities between systems, however, this is not the case outside of Approved, In Progress. For instance, Katrina would like Pending Approval orders to sync with ShipStation in the Awaiting Payment bucket (Unpaid status) and that Completed orders in Striven would move previously Approved orders in Awaiting Shipment bucket to the Shipped bucket in ShipStation.Another example of what Katrina is experiencing is that if she updates the shipping address on an order in Striven ShipStation doesn’t recognize the change even after reprocessing the orders inside of ShipStation. A lot of Katrina’s customers move around the nation due to shows and competitions and it is not unusual for the shipping address to change based on those movements. This could lead to a lot of issues if not caught prior to shipping the product that a forced update could help resolve. Right now Katrina is having to manually change the address in Striven and then change the address in ShipStation manually.I would love to be able to fully utilize the integration and make it more streamlined for users. A lot of businesses (The Clothes Horse included) have a receiving area where they have a designated person or crew who only ships and receives packages for the location or business. As of now, there needs to be a lot of communication and back and forth between systems that doesn’t really fit this type of workflow. My Dreams for the integration:Orders marked as Shipped in ShipStation mark Approved/In Progress Orders as Completed in StrivenShipStation considers Shipped orders the last status in the workflow other than Cancelled. Marketplaces (Striven) get notified when labels are created and then those orders get marked as Shipped meaning the end of the life cycle apart from Returns.I think it would be great if when an order is marked as Shipped the order in Striven gets marked Completed. I think it would be super cool to also trigger the order to be completed, email, and invoice is setup that wayCancelled Orders in Striven mark orders in ShipStation as CancelledIf an order is Cancelled in ShipStation users must cancel them again in ShipStation, I think it would be nice to only have to do this once.I could also see:Pending Approval Orders populate in the Awaiting Payment bucket in ShipStationQuoted Orders in Striven populate in the On-Hold bucket in ShipStation
