Name of Feature/Request: Pop up when Lot Numbers don’t match on an SO
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: To have a pop up on a Sales Order when Lot Numbers don’t match the item. | Frequency: potentially it could happen daily but or at least there are opportunities for it to happen each time a sales order and invoice are created. | If I have a Lot Number listed on a sales order and another on the corresponding invoice, fake inventory is created causing inventory discrepancies. I currently take several hours each quarter to reconcile and correct the inventory. (lot number by location report vs inventory stock status). it’s a flaw in Striven (in my opinion) that a sales order will allow one lot number and the corresponding invoice will allow a different batch. Again, when this happens, it creates inventory discrepancies. Having a pop up that warns you when a discrepancy exists will avoid this.
Attempted Solutions So Far: create a report that shows what lot numbers are on a sales order and what lot numbers are on an invoice…that report couldn’t be created, not select batches on a sales order, however then the packing list that the warehouse picks from doesn’t include a batch
