I’m curious how others are passing along the credit card processing fee to customers? I realize I can create a non-inventory item for this, but is there an automated way that Striven will calculate the 3% based on the order total? Similar to how tax can be calculated at a percentage automatically.

Thank you for reaching out, Striven provides a Convenience Fee feature under Company> Settings > Accounting > Sales> Discounts & Convenience Fees that allows you to define a percentage fee (e.g. 3%) tied to a specific payment method (such as credit card).
When a customer pays using that method, Striven will automatically calculate and invoice the fee—no manual line-item entry or separate non-inventory item is required.
This behaves just like the automated tax calculation, but only applies when the configured payment method is used.
