Name of Feature/Request: Adding Default Settings when changing a Task Type
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: To create a pop-up when changing a Task Type to a new or different Task Type asking if the User wants to update the Task to the new Task Type Default Settings. Currently, if you change an existing Task to a new Task Type that contains a Default Budget, that budget is populated with “0” rather than the set Default Budget. | Frequency: Once | To streamline the process when actively working on a task within a project. This will allow employees to have a better workflow on day-to-day tasks without having to change the budget within an assigned project.
Attempted Solutions So Far: Ceate a Task Type for that particular Project so that the Task Type is already there and the Default Budget is populated upon creation.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: If a task type had a default budget set, it was also set to require a budget the task would have a budget of 0 instead of the default budget set at the task type level. | Previously accomplished: If you create a fresh Task using this Task Type, it will create with the appropriate Default Budget of “1”
