Name of Feature/Request: Ability to Add Additional Notification Recipients to Appointments
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Ability to Add Additional Notification Recipients to Appointments | Frequency: This is a feature request to pursue Scheduled Support (in IT). Chris may need to review this one as well, as this is an annual goal. | This feature request will allow us to have Helpdesk Services get notified of new appointments and handle key setup steps in the Scheduled Support process for IT.
Specifically, the goal would be to be able to add the team’s support consultants to the shared meeting link as attendees, then have a separate field for “additional notification recipients” where Helpdesk Services could be added. See screenshot attached for the current setup.
Attempted Solutions So Far: 1. Adding Helpdesk Services team members as available contacts within the shared calendar link, but that also makes them possible attendees for scheduling support with, which does not work.
-
Setting a separate person as the organizer, but this still makes them an available attendee.
-
Discussed and investigated filtering solutions with Gmail, but this would also not work well.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: Ability to Add Additional Notification Recipients to Appointments | Previously accomplished: It is not able to be accomplished today
