Why is the account I’m creating being set as a Vendor instead of a Customer when I try to convert a lead to a customer?
It’s possible your default Customer/Vendor Type within your CRM Settings may have been set as Vendor instead of Customer. You can confirm this by navigating to Company - Settings - Customers/Vendors - Settings and confirm what you have set for the Default Customer/Vendor Type. If this setting is set to Customer, then when you convert a lead to an account, it will default as a Customer-Type account rather than a Vendor.
