Why am I getting email notifications for Buzz even though I have this feature turned off?
If you are assigned as a contact or associated with the customer in some capacity you may notice that you will still receive Buzz post notifications regardless of if you have them turned off or not. Try following these steps in order to avoid these notifications in the future.

Go to the âCustomer Dashboardâ

Click on the âPortal Log inâ

Click on their profile menu

Click âMy Infoâ

Check the â Unsubscribe from Buzz Posts Emailâ

There is also an option when creating Buzz posts to âoverride user preferences and notify all usersâ. This would cause the system to ignore whether a user has opted out of Buzz notifications and send the email to them anyway. This option would generally only be used when you want all of your users to be notified of very important announcements or emergencies.
