Name of Feature/Request: To Have Item Info Page Display Qty On Hand By Location
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: To have Quantity On Hand and Inventory Location information displayed on the Item Info Page | Frequency: Multiple times a day. I work in warehousing and we constantly interact with inventory. | A warehousing employee should not need to go into Striven’s Accounting functions, yet we do because that appears to be where the inventory function resides. That doesn’t make any sense. Moreover, as a warehouse inventory manager, I should have full access to easily identify, locate, and relocate my inventory items as needed. That starts with a two step (maximum) search process to find where the item is and how many of them I have. I should then be able to relocate those items and keep track of those changes in a very simple fashion. That’s inventory 101 and Striven does not do it. Additionally Striven does not allow ANY of the searching or editing of inventory to be done simply. It all starts by giving me basic information of “how many” and “where they are” information on the “information” page of that item.
Attempted Solutions So Far: Creating an excel spreadsheet and maintaining that instead of striven. Striven’s inventory function is severely not user friendly.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: If the info page can display the location(s) and quantity on hand, that would be ideal. | Previously accomplished: Two striven pages at a time. Project Management > Inventory on Hand by Location (“refine results” checked to make the inventory effectively searchable), and the other page is open to the Info page of the item for details about what it is.
