What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: To have tasks in Project Management dependent on each other so that if due date on one is changed the other changes by itself. | Frequency: With every large manufacturing project. | Tasks in a project should be related and dependent on each other so that if a date and time adjustment is made to a task all the following tasks gets adjusted automatically. Example:In a milestone:Task 1: cut partsTask 2: machine partsTask 3: weld partsIf task 1 gets delayed by 2 days, it would be nice for the dates in tasks 2 and 3 to update based on this delay. The only way I know to make this work is making task 2 dependent on task 1 and 3 dependent on 2 so that the task that is dependent is adjusted according to the task it is dependent on.
