Name of Feature/Request: T&E - Employee Hourly rates by Project or Sales Order
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Ensure the customer can bill their customers the same rate for the year a project starts YoY even if an employee’s billing rate changes. | Frequency: Daily as billable work is completed and timesheets have entries | They cannot implement Striven until they have this functionality.
They need to maintain customer pricing on a given project even if employee rates change each year. Project Management span multiple years and they do not want the billable amounts to change in 2024 for a project started in 2023 for example. They need to maintain 2023 rates for that specific instance.
Attempted Solutions So Far: Creating items for each billable service, for each employee, for each year. This becomes a lot to maintain YoY, and puts a lot more work on the employees entering their time. Timesheets are already a pain point for their employees, and having to manage which items they are picking adds more work to the process, and room for error.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Previously accomplished: Currently using Practice CS project management system which allows for billing hours based on specific Project Management and tasks.
