Name of Feature/Request: Add billing schedule functionality to sales orders - set invoicing milestones based on calendar dates that can be flexible
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Add better scheduling of invoices on sales orders that is both flexible and ideally integrated with the task/Project Management. | Frequency: Daily | They are currently managing their ETA for billing schedule external to Striven. They would like to have all the data within Striven, and be able to automatically schedule the invoices based on task due dates or at least an ETA put into a sales order billing schedule.
The current process they do in Excel helps them with cash flow forecasting.
Attempted Solutions So Far: Progress Invoicing has been tried, but is not dynamic enough for what they need. Only options are for On Approval, On Completion, or % of Timeline. They really need to schedule invoicing based on task due dates and the only way to manage it now is through manual invoicing.
Revenue Projection report only really works when there is automated invoicing in place for the current Striven functionality. It doesn’t work when you manually manage the invoicing
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: I need the ability to schedule billings within a Sales Order using calendar dates. Ideally, I’d be able to identify billable milestones and assign an ETA using a calendar date. The % complete methodology you currently offer is clunky and almost unworkable. | Previously accomplished: Manual Invoicing, and manually calculating Estimated Billing Dates in Excel - Other systems like Microsoft ERPs have this functionality.
