Name of Feature/Request: Allow selection of hourly rates by contract
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Allow flexibility to add different rates for employees per sales order. | Frequency: Currently, we only have two time and materials client | this should be a basic feature of any project management system. I have never used a project management system that did not have this capability. Contracts are negotiated with each client individually. As a result, the rates are not going to be uniform. For example, a Customer who agrees to different negotiations will need a different rate than a Customer who agreed to a different contract of work. As of now Patrick has 2 different customers who need to have different rates set.
Attempted Solutions So Far: there’s no current way in Striven to have variable rates by contract…unless you were to create a separate item for each contract…which is not tenable. With the current functionality, Patrick is currently recording time per Sales Order on Timesheets which he then will create T&E Invoices for.
