Is there a hack to be able to fix something in a bank reconciliation that is a few months back without having to undo every single month going forward.

Great question!
At this time, we do not have a way to go back a make a change to one Reconciliation without it impacting or having to re-do the subsequent Reconciliations made after. Our recommendation would be to work backwards from the most recent Reconciliation to the one needing the adjustment.
