Name of Feature/Request: Reconciliations - Statement Date needs to autofill to correct date that reflects the last day of that particular month
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Frequency: Each month when they do their reconciliations. | They need this request to auto-fill the correct date for the statement date. Since Striven automatically fills in the statement date from the prior month, then it needs to be the correct date per Cindy.
Ex: “Whenever you go into the reconcile screen to reconcile, if it is the first time to reconcile for an account then I think it would make sense to put the last day of the prior month. So today being June 8, if I was using the screen to reconcile my account for the first time, I would like to see 5/31/23. If I have reconciled my account before it lists the ‘last reconcile date’, and so the ‘statement date’ should list the last day of the following month. So if my last reconcile day was 4/30/23, when I go onto the reconcile screen, I would expect to see a statement date of 5/31/23. It is logical that this would be the date of my next bank statement.”

Attempted Solutions So Far: They are manually correcting the date to the last day for that particular month. If an incorrect date is being auto-filled then that could lead to errors. The reason for this is the user could forget to correct the date and complete their reconciliation.
