We are interested in knowing if there is a way to automate tasks having a certain title, such as the name of a customer.
Is there any way to automate this?
I also thought of automating the number that is associated with the task. Are there ways you can modify that number to make it say something different?

I know you can automate task creation through workflows by customer name.
Not sure about the #, but your in good hands with Dennis.
This probably got answered already, but for anyone else looking, you can use the same merge fields in the Subject, just like you can the body. You just need to create it in the body first, so you know what to use. It’s easy to copy/paste it into the Subject line.
For example, if you want the Task to be “Task Name - Customer Name - Order Number”, you would enter “Task Name - [[Customer/Vendor-Name]] - [[Order-Number]]” into the Subject line.
