A while ago someone with support recommended using JOTFORM for more in depth forms and data entry methods. Is there a way to integrate JOTFORM with striven?
If any other Striven users use JOTFORM vs form builder do you have any tricks for integrating or merging the two platfroms for seamless option?

At this time, there is no integration between JOTFORM and Striven. However, this may potentially be something you can discuss with Custom Software. I will create a Task if you are interested in learning more details.

Ashley, there is no direct integration between the two, but by using Make or IFTTT or Zapier, you can link the two fairly easily.
I’m finalizing a method to connect Jotform to Striven to use in place of a native mobile app that works offline. Jotform’s app works offline, and only requires one tiny paid subscription for unlimited form fills. The rest of your staff can have free Jotform accounts, download their app and use it offline to complete work in the field. I should have it done in the next couple of weeks and will post a lengthy description of how to set it up.
Has there been an update to this? We are considering striven and JotForm has been used for many years for our contact forms.
So they haven’t done anything yet, but do have a way to embed links into the program and provide hyper links in email correspondence.
For simple forms there internal form builder works great. I use it within our hiring process and also internal needs but anything that needs to be signed or initialed in more then one spot or essentially docusigned it doesn’t play nice with. Any type of layer pdf forms we use jotform. I also use jotform that works with authorize.net.
I have a future feature on this topic and they closed it out and said they weren’t going to move forward with it at this time. Maybe if enough people express interest they might bump this back up.

Feel free to give me a call anytime… What I am thinking, is we have a IFTTT account and a JotForm account. I don’t see Striven on the IFTTT platform. Is there a way to connect IFTTT to Striven?
I had it up and running using the old custom reports, and hit a glitch this morning with the beta report creator. The guys are working on it already and I imagine a fix will be coming soon. The glitch is for the Unit of Measure field in the Item dataset. Probably isn’t needed for most people, I was just trying to be fancy. I should be back up and running in the next couple of days so I can work out some videos or Tango walkthroughs of the setup.
IFTTT is super powerful and with the API links from the custom report builder, there’s very little you need to do except get something to catch the email from Striven with the custom report API. IFTTT integrates with nearly every useful tool so you can shoot the API to anything to pull data from the report to prefill and assign forms or any other fun task.
I use IFTTT to add Tasks in Striven for myself by voice when I’m in the car. I use a series of instructions to create an email that goes to a Task creation email. The subject of the email becomes the Task title and everything else goes in the description so I don’t have to slow down to take notes. Someday Google will let us send email by voice directly and solve the problem. I imagine with the AI boom, we’ll be able to add Calendar events by voice soon and with the Google Calendar integration, I’ll never need to stop working.
