Name of Feature/Request: Default Project Assignment for Custom Tasks

What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur with this: When relying on Project Board for task management by task type, tasks can be missed if someone forgets to manually assign the project or generates the task via email, which poses a time and financial risk if tasks are not being managed correctly; saves time of assigning project within the task, especially when generated by email

Attempted solutions so far: Looked in custom task setup - no option for default project assignment; reached out to Striven support, no solution available

Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven: It is very useful to look at each task type as a whole in the project board view, so that the task type as a whole can be managed.

Hi Peter,

One thing that I would recommend to help with this is to create a custom report looking for that specific task type and include any task without a project set. Then take this report and make a Task Custom Report widget and add it on a Dashboard to help monitor when a task is created without a project. While this doesn’t prevent it from happening, it does help you see tasks quickly that were missed until this feature is approved and developed.
