Name of Feature/Request: Ability to print Sales Order Assignments on Sales Order Format
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Ability to print sales order assignments on a sales order format
Customer Requirements: FCNA will need the ability to print the assignment name and in some cases their email/phone | Frequency: Daily | FCNA prints an assignment sheet, which shows who is assigned whether internal or external.
In NetSuite, FCNA is used to being able to add a contact as an assignment, which saves the data at the customer level, but also assign them at the order. In some cases single assignment category might have 5-30 people. With a custom field as we have it now means they type in the person’s name, but this is only saved in the field and nowhere else. FCNA would like to sav this and be able to use them again in the future for another order/customer. They’re also used to saving contact info for each assignment including their email and phone, but a custom field would make this very messy and cumbersome as it’s a free type with no validation or contact functionality.
FCNA being able to make assignments at the order level and having those assignments printed on the order format would improve their Striven experience.
Their assignments sheet is a required print-out, so doing the custom fields will be a short-term solution, but having a long-term solution i place is the ultimate goal. Hoping to have this for a 2024 release
