Name of Feature/Request: Button to “Update Pricing on Expired Sales Order”
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur with this: During peak seasons (fall/winter), our team handles an average of 10 customers per week presenting expired Sales Orders. This translates to ~100 minutes (1.67 hours) of lost administrative time per week per rep.
Attempted solutions so far:Currently, reps must either rebuild the entire Sales Order from scratch or copy lines individually while manually referencing updated price lists.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven:
- While Striven supports saving quotes as templates, this approach only works for generic, standardized packages. It is inefficient for custom, site-verified quotes that feature unique measurements, specific component configurations, and tailored labor lines.
- A Sales Order for custom installations (such as hearth and fireplace setups) represents valuable field data collected during on-site visits. Re-creating these line items introduces a risk of omitting critical hardware, accessories, or custom labor specs.
- Sales representatives are frequently on live calls or face-to-face with clients who expect immediate pricing updates while discussing other aspects of their project. Forcing reps to reconstruct 10+ line items while holding a conversation leads to missed details, customer frustration, and unnecessary operational stress.
