The current report pulls line item values within an item group and shows their invoice and credit memo amounts, but it doesn’t show the extra individual items within the same transaction that aren’t part of any item group. We can bring the total transaction value (transaction amount + tax) or subtotal but not line item amounts into the report, but then we have to manually investigate the amount discrepancies. What we can do is to create two separate reports, combine them in Excel (using an API for real-time updates), and make manual edits - but this process is time-consuming and inefficient. Ideally, the AR Transaction Detail Expanded dataset should provide this full breakdown to accurately compose total values and simplify the process.
