Name of Feature/Request: Add Invoice Class column to Invoice dataset for Report Builder
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur with this: We need to be able to create reports to see the sales of different stores at any given time.
This can be monthly, daily, hourly, etc. We want to use API access and use the information to generate reports outside of Striven that we need.
Having to use a “Details” dataset is a waste of Striven resources.
The only other way we can do it right now is creating completely separate reports for each store, all with separate APIs and all separate API pulls. This can eat away at our maximum allowable API calls and is again a waste of Striven resources
Attempted solutions so far:Tried all details datasets which do include the Class field and grouping however, we want the Class field to be available on the Invoice dataset to reduce API calls
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven: We should be able to create a report that displays the default class for a transaction without using a “details” dataset. That is a waste of Striven resources. The Default class is a singular item, attached to the transaction not each line item on the transaction, all singular items like this should be in the “invoice” or “transaction” dataset and not only in the “invoice details” or “transaction details” or “AR transaction details” dataset.
I'm surprised it's not a thing. I can see where that would be helpful. Worth a thumbs up vote!
