Name of Feature/Request: To have an option for the system to default to displaying the item pricing and cost based on the item’s default purchasing unit of measure.
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: To have an option for the system to default to displaying the item pricing and cost based on the item’s default purchasing unit of measure. | Frequency: Customer came from Adagio System | Currently, item costs and prices are displayed based on the base unit of measure. However, I would like the option—or for the system to default—to show item pricing and costs according to the default purchasing unit of measure instead.
Example:For instance, my plastic cups (FPPC20) currently display pricing and cost per pack. However, we purchase these in cases, so it would be more useful for the system to show the cost per case rather than per pack.
Right now, we have to manually calculate the case cost using a calculator, which is inconvenient—especially when quoting items with multiple inner packs per case. Having the system display costs and pricing in the purchasing unit of measure would streamline this process and reduce manual effort.

Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: I am requesting a change in the way Items are shown in their list under Accounting - Items… Currently the items are costed and priced at the base unit of measure. I would like the option or have the system default to show the item pricing and cost of what the items is set up to default purchasing unit of measure. For example - my plastic cups - FPPC20 Shows the price and cost / pack. We purchase these by the case; so it would be beneficial to have the system show what the case cost is. They way the system is now, we have to pull a calculator out to give me my case cost. This is not ideal, especially when quoting on items that have many inner packs / case. Please let me know if this is something that can be accomplished, or if there is a report we could build to make this happen. Thank you!
