Name of Feature/Request: Sorting options for BOM in item details
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: The Items in the BOM has sort ability like by Item Number, or Alphabetically or by Item Name. It would also be extremely useful to sort by Quantity. It would be great to see these options as an option at the top of the BOM - just like report builder, just click the heading to sort. | Frequency: Everyday | Many of our manufactured items have 10-20+ components in their BOM. At present- the items created last in the system are at the bottom. It would be way more useful to us to sort by item NUMBER or alphabetically by item NAME. It would also be extremely useful to sort by quantity. It would be great to see these options as an option at the top of the BOM - just like report builder, just click the heading to sort. This is helpful to us because our items are often grouped by item number or name - for example, a gift set items will have 3 filled tins, 3 labels, and a sleeve. Right now these items have no meaningful sort and can be in any order depending on the selected item. Being able to sort them by item number would group the items together. Sorting by quantity would be very helpful for our bulk blends, in which all ingredients are listed by weight (which is the same as quantity - all items are 1 pound). It is very helpful to know the order of ingredients by weight in the food industry.
