Name of Feature/Request: Show Appointment Date/Time in email notifications in the recipient’s time zone
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Appointments should be sent recipient with their time zone, not the time zone of the organizer. | Frequency: Weekly | From a help desk perspective: we have had many instances where customer meetings are missed because the customer thinks they are choosing a time in one time zone, but the notification tells them the time in the other attendee’s time zone so they miss the appointment. This causes both customer and help desk frustration and wastes time for both.
From a recruiting perspective: Applicants are scheduling 1-hour interviews and their appointment emails are giving the date/time in the interviewer’s time zone, not the applicant’s so they are missing their interviews. This wastes hours of time for the interviewers because they are losing the time of the missed appointment, which could be time available for other applicants/interviews or meetings. It is frustrating to keep preparing for interviews and having them reschedule. It is also frustrating to have the schedule tied up with useless appointments.
From a Subscriber’s perspective: They are having the same issues with their customers and appointments. Missed appointments are missed revenue and opportunities.
Attempted Solutions So Far: I believe attempts have been made to ensure the recipient READS the notification and ensure they’ve got the right date/time, but so far that doesn’t seem to make a difference.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: I am prepared to passionately advocate for this enhancement. It is my belief that Krishy is in agreement with this request and its Importsance as well. | Previously accomplished: Currently, the appointment email notifications are displaying the appointment date/time in the time zone of the person organizing the appointment and not in the time zone of the recipient of the notification. This leads to missed appointments or recipients having to do math and research to figure out what time they are expected to attend the appointment in their own time zone (which is stupid).
