Name of Feature/Request: Process Credit Card Refund Within Striven Without Going The Payment Integration
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: For Striven To Be Able To Process Credit Card Refunds | Frequency: This issues comes up frequently. | This should be a basic function of accepting payments via credit card.Not all employees have access or should be given access to login to the Stripe account to process a refund, nor should they have to leave the POS system in order to do this. This causes delays in sales and is tarnishes customer satisfaction.We’ve never seen a retailer not be able to process a return back to a credit card.
Attempted Solutions So Far: To process a refund back to a credit card we must mail a check to the customer. Customers are leery of this and they want their refund back to their original payment method. ALL other retailers can do this. It should be a basic function.
Do you have other options to trigger a return back to a credit card? We’ve been told Striven does not support this.
