Prevent contacts from being added to notifications recipient fields when they do not have an email address listed

Prevent contacts from being added to notifications recipient fields when they do not have an email address listed.

What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this:

Ensure only recipients who have an email to actually receive these important account/financial related notifications are set to receive said email communications.

Attempted Solutions So Far:

Manual modification required.

Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software:

Within the UI, you are not able to select a contact if they do not have an email address listed, but if you have the titles for “Primary” or “Sales Order” contact, then contacts without emails are set here.

This is the case for the following Notification Recipients under a customer’s settings tab:

  • Invoice Notification

  • Collection Notices

  • Monthly Statement

  • Payment Receipt for Auto Pay Invoices

  • Payment Notification
