Name of Feature/Request: Mark Convenience Fee Taxable if the convenience fee item is marked taxable by default
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur with this: Arizona requires convenience fees to be taxable. To comply, we marked convenience fees item taxable by default, so tax should apply to the total amount (items + convenience fee). When a user pays an invoice from the portal using a credit card, a convenience fee is applied. However, after the payment is made, if we revisit the invoice, the convenience fee item is not taxable. As a result, customers is paying the invoice without tax applied to the convenience fee, and later the convenience fee tax must be manually enabled. This requires contacting the customer again to collect the additional tax.
Attempted solutions so far: Manually enable the tax and collect it again from the customer.
