Name of Feature/Request: Make assigning links to Opportunities from a Calendar entry easier for users
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Ability to link an opportunity to an appointment from searching within the appointment. Making this an option from the appointment type may be worth noting. Customer Requirements: Things to Consider:Currently, in order to link an opportunity from an appointment, you have to know the number of the opportunity, which is fairly unlikely to have memorized in a large system, so you have to go find the opportunity in a separate window. It would be great to make this easier for users to do on-the-fly from within the appointment itself. Some ideas for how to do this are below (other improvements with the main goal in mind would be awesome, too!):1) Add a field to search opportunity names in addition to the number2) For the number or name, make these type-ahead search type fields3) IF there is already a customer or vendor associated with the appointment, pre-filter the list of available opportunities in the search results to be those associated with that account Promised Date: Files/Links/Images/s: Original Title & Description in Discussions. | Frequency: At ~ 12,500 opportunities per year, and assuming an average of 1.5 appointments per opportunity, this feature should be used ~ 18,750 times per year for Miles Technologies alone
