Name of Feature/Request: Improvement to Sales Order Permissions and Audit Log/History
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Want to see Order History just like you can on invoices and/or have better audit logging on Sales Orders. If possible, have permissions to edit invoice, but not be able to delete lines on SOs. | Frequency: Many times a day, we have requested this update since Early 2022 | Just like it is imperative to see a history on invoices, it is imperative to see history for sales orders and POs. The history on these areas of the system will ensure that we can properly assist our customers and review our sales reps and cashiers work and history throughout an orders process. Seeing prior changes can be imperative when a customer has an issue with an order, lets say they claim there is an item missing on their order and we do not see it on the sales order, we cannot check the history of the sales order to see if the item was ever on the order. If it was on the order in the past then that tells us the customer must have requested it to be removed, this goes for pricing changes and so many other Importsant things that can happen during an orders process.

However, we are currently planning to update our Sales Orders next year and are in the process of reviewing permissions within the Sales Orders. It only shows status changes, created on and last edited. There are so many details missing [19:16] Dustin Shepard: Audit logs are great on individual fields in Striven but on an entire order they are missing a lot of information [19:17] Courtney: We are working on updating our Sales Orders next year, and I know this is one item that is being looked at for improvement.
