Next Steps: not entered | Frequency: Frequently when grouped items needs to be hidden. | We need the ability to group items dynamically in customer sales order so we can simplify the sales order for the customer and for us. Without this ability we will be forced to manually input and display multiple items including labor. This results in a very confusing sales order and the customers ability to shop around each individual item on the order. Many times they can find these items on the internet at a much lower price. We often have to add unanticipated parts and remove unused parts from the sales order. In our old system we could make these changes without changing the price of the group. This ability has greatly simplified our quoting and billing for both us and our customers. I would not pay for this enhancement. I believe it is something that should be standard as it was in the system we switched from.
Attempted Solutions So Far: Use Item group type item. This will hide the items that are added to the item group and items can be removed from the group if needed.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Previously accomplished: Grouping items on sales orders. They had the ability to hide or show items under a particular group on a sales order in their last system.
