Sales people should not see vendors, and the warehouse staff does not need to see customers.We are trying to prevent salespeople from knowing who are vendors are to help protect confidentiality and non-compete issues. If sales knows who vendors are, they could take that knowledge to a competitive company. Likewise, we want to protect our customer list (it is the core of any business), and only allow high level positions to view it for the same reason stated above. We would like to keep one employee from knowing both vendors and customers.
