Encryption on TIN when SSN is selected
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: After selecting SSN as the TIN Type under Customer financials the number entered is not encrypted like the Employee SSN is. This happens every time TIN number is entered/ viewed.
Attempted Solutions So Far:
Limiting access to the “Customers/Vendors - View” and “Customers/Vendors Dataset” permissions
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software:
After selecting SSN as the TIN Type the number entered is not encrypted like the Employee SSN is, which may violate HIPAA for subcontractors.
