Name of Feature/Request: Permissions adjustment Needed
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Administrator should be able to restrict “Edit Invoice Date” without restricting “Invoice - Edit” permission. | Frequency: On going | It is only logical that if there is a permission for “Invoice - Edit Due Date” that there would also be a singular permission for “Invoice - Edit Date (Invoice Date)”. Period. This is a programming oversight. We should be able to restrict just the ability to edit a Saved Invoice Date without having to restrict the ability to Apply Credits to an Invoice or make any other Edits to the Invoice. At present the only known way to restrict Edit Invoice Date is by restricting “Invoice - Edit” which hamstrings the user and slows productivity.

Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: Found that Employee Managers were able to change the actual Invoice Date after Save, which is very problematic for our commission structure. Attempted to restrict this by removing “Invoice - Edit” permission and now the Employee Manager can’t Apply Credits to an Invoice, a necessary function. There is already a separated permission for “Invoice - Edit Due Date” so there should also be a separate one for “Invoice: Edit Date (Invoice Date)”.
