Name of Feature/Request: Change Order Naming Convention change from A,B,C to 01,02,03
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Allowing Change Orders to have numeric sequences instead of alphabetic sequences. | Frequency: Any time a change order is created. | We are asking for the value change because standard industry is to issue Change Orders numerically and our contract clients follow standard industry. The alphabet only includes 26 letters, numbers are infinite.
Attempted Solutions So Far: Attempted manually adding “-001” to the end of a Sales Order.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: Is there a way that we can have our Change Orders Reflect a numeric, in lieu of alpha, sequence? For instance: Instead of 26087-A, can it say 26087-001? | Previously accomplished: Using the current alphabetic naming convention
