Name of Feature/Request: Bug / Invalid logic on Completion Date field for Sales Order Dataset for custom reports
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: What I’m actually looking for is a “Last Effective Date” for the order that got replaced by the new order (ideally not having either Striven or an external system having to calculate that by using the new order, but rather as an actual meaningful data point for the order that has been replaced by the new one). Add a Future Feature request for a “Last Effective Date” to be tracked (and stored) separately for orders. That date would be set in the database at the time an order is closed, so you would not have to calculate anything on-the-flyPlease watch this for an explanation of the issueDesign Team ExplanationOriginal Description:Please watch this for an explanation of the issueIssue: The “Completion Date” field for orders on the Sales Order dataset is using the date the order actually changed status to Complete. It should be using the last effective date of the order, so that even if the order gets marked complete at a later date (e.g. when a change order gets approved later than the effective date of the change order), then the Completion Date should show that last effective date, not the date the order status changed.Related Links:Magna Legal Services CO’s referenced in https://APP.Striven.com/Order/OrderInfo.aspx?OrderID=59466https://APP.Striven.com/Order/OrderInfo.aspx?OrderID=60320Added by System as Task Type was changedStriven Support Specialist Fills OutResult: Moved to Future FeaturesQuestion Type: Implementation/Consultation Question
Attempted Solutions So Far: It can be achieved either by looking at the start date of the next order in line if they are reading these values programmatically.
