Name of Feature/Request: Be able to search by Item Description when entering an item on a Sales Order
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur with this: Our Item names are mostly codes because they have to match up with the same codes we use in other software, which makes it hard to search for items directly on the SO without using the advanced search. It would be helpful to be able to search by description where the details of our products are.
Attempted solutions so far: We use the advanced search, but that requires additional clicks that we are trying to reduce for our employees; provide employees with a cheat sheet of item name codes
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven: Prior to Striven we used QuickBooks where as you typed in item categories and/or names the description of the item would populate, where our people could identify the specific details of the products we sold and select the correct item. Since the item decription does not populate when searching the item name in Striven, it would be helpful to be able to search directly from the description.
