Name of Feature/Request: Additional Customer Attribute, DBA, AKA, etc.
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Frequency: Occasionally | We have grocery store customers that change hands, or do business as part of larger co-op’s or clustering under a particular brand name, and the only current approach we have is using the Parent Company (if applicable) field to choose a grouping customer.
Names can be a little obtuse, so we are stuck between too much and not enough in the naming convention, e.g. https://APP.Striven.com/CRM/AccountDashboard.aspx?AccountID=52992 or https://APP.Striven.com/CRM/AccountDashboard.aspx?AccountID=53154
Was discussing this with Dan C. and was looking for possible text field in another area to hijack, but it occurred to me that a feature request might be the route to take to add an Alias or Pseudonym text field to the Customer attribute panel – something that could be used in optional searching, and of course would be a value add column to any of my customer reports.
Some sort of Alias or Alternative name, possibly in this panel on the dashboard, where this store along with 7 or 8 others that could be alternatively named/report filtered under ‘Fine Fare’ name?
Attempted Solutions So Far: Not really an option at this point other than modifying the actual Customer/Vendor name
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Previously accomplished: Currently the only name we have is the official name that appears on the top of the dashboard and used in key word searching
