Name of Feature/Request: Add Recipient First, Full, and Last Name Merge Fields to Workflow Send Discussion Action
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Make sure that the merge fields are correctly mapped to the corresponding database fields (e.g., recipient_full_name, recipient_first_name, recipient_last_name) so that Contacts on Opportunity can be properly addressed thru Discussions sent by Workflow. | Frequency: Daily basis | Fran sends out Discussions using Workflows. He needs to address the Contact associated with an Opportunity thru Discussion by their first name. This will help him professionally acknowledge the Contact by their first name for when he reaches out to help sell Striven services. Fran prefers to send Discussions over Emails to Contacts by Workflow so that all communication is recorded on the Discussion Thread and to prevent him from having to copy and paste information sent via email in a Discussion Thread to himself alone.
Attempted Solutions So Far: Tried creating a workflow based on (Opportunities, Customers/Vendors, Project Management ,tasks, sales orders) but while adding action type as send discussions in the merge field “Recipient Name” is not available. Tried with other action types other than send discussion “Recipient merge field” is available.
Customer needed “Recipient name” to send discussions to Contact located on Opportunity, sales order etc.
