Name of Feature/Request: Add Opportunity: Number as a Column to Sales Orders Data Set
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Reference the Opportunity Number associated to the Sales Order via API. | Frequency: High demand - Whenever an API Calls and needs to locate the Opportunity Number. | We are using Report Builder and the Report API to support our sales reporting and downstream analytics. We need to reliably link Sales Orders back to their originating Opportunities for reporting, reconciliation, and BI/dashboarding purposes. The Opportunity: Number would allow us to join Sales Order data to Opportunity-level reporting. Currently we have no way to identify when quotes in the Sales Order data are for the same opportunity. Nor can we quality control the status field in the Opportunity data based on sales orders. This field already exists internally but is not currently exposed in Report Builder, and we’d like to request that it be added as a selectable column in the Sales Order dataset (and available via the Report API if possible).
Attempted Solutions So Far: No way to call via API. Manual reference is not useful here.
