Name of Feature/Request: Add Current Date / Todays Date / today Merge Field to Invoice Formats
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: To add “Current Date” as a merge field to Invoice Formats. | Frequency: Multiple packages are sent daily, each needing a packing list. | When we send an order to a client, we send a packing list at the same time. This needs to have the current date to reflect the day the order was shipped. Often times the invoice date does not match the day the order was shipped.
Attempted Solutions So Far: A custom field would be created where we would have to enter the current date manually before sending the packing list.
Digging deep - Any additional Why behind this request / How was this accomplished before Striven in what system or software: Original Description: I want a current date merge field. How would I set that up? I know that I would be able to create a custom field, but that would require entering the date, and remembering to update the date. | Previously accomplished: We have not fully changed over to Striven as of yet. If there is no current-date field for the invoices, we will have to create a custom field that is manually entered whenever we send out a packing list.
