Name of Feature/Request: Add a “Sales Order - Edit Sales Order Number” Permission to Restrict Who Can Edit SO #
What financial, time savings, or quality of life improvements will occur from this: Restrict the ability to editing Sales Order Number to only Employees with permission to do so. | Frequency: Each time a Sales Order is added by the Customer’s employees. | Most other fields on a sales order can be restricted by permissions to be not editable by those which do not have permissions (i.e. customer PO# cannot be edited after creation by those that do not have the Sales Order - Edit PO Number on Approved Sales Orders permission). While employees can be instructed to not touch the field, it is possible for the field to be accidentally adjusted, or adjusted without proper knowledge during creation and after creation. Adding a permission to restrict the ability to edit the Sales Order Number field greatly reduces the chance for errors when inputting Sales Orders.
Attempted Solutions So Far: Edit and Add permissions have been restricted to select employees, but Sales Order number can still be changed.

In previous system the SO #s were automatically generated and not editable.
