About the Enhancement Requests Voting category

This area is used to submit feature enhancement requests and vote on which ones will help your organization the most. Please note that while all enhancement requests are sub-categorized (all of which can be found at the bottom of this post) based on overall function, all votes are shared between categories. Also note that the more effort a feature will take to develop will require a larger amount of votes to help move it forward. New requests MUST be submitted via this method, however all new requests will be reviewed to ensure there is enough detail, it is in the right subcategory, and that there isn’t a way we can Solve It With Striven to help you now.

After any topic is closed, votes will be given back. Votes can also be rescinded any time and moved to different topics as your priorities shift.

Please see the number of votes given to users based on their community levels:

Level - Description / # of Votes
0 - New users / Unverified subscribers / 2
1 -These are confirmed users of Striven / 10
2 - These are verified Premium Support OR Enterprise users / 20
3 - These are verified Premium Support AND Enterprise users / 30

4 - This group can include Partners and specialized power users that often provide additional value like referrals and references / 40

One final note

Striven operates on a quarterly release cycle to ensure high-quality updates. This allows us to test features thoroughly and deliver a reliable experience.

If your request requires a new feature, we can start the product review process in place. This ensures new additions align with our overall product roadmap and benefit the majority of our users. While approved requests are prioritized and eventually implemented, the development process takes time, usually around six to twelve months, to ensure a well-integrated and well-tested solution. So even should a feature receives enough votes, it may still be up to a year before released. However, Striven offers a unique option for situations where it may be valuable to the customer to have a way forward: priority development sponsorship. This allows your approved feature request to be added to one of our upcoming quarterly releases instead of waiting for the standard development process. Our team will gladly discuss the details and feasibility of sponsoring your request if you’re interested. Depending on timing this may be the following release or three to six months out.

As both of these options still take significant time, we always encourage users to make other suggestions for how they might be able to accomplish their end goal sooner.
